Pilzlein, Pilzlein an der Wand
Lamps, cushions, building materials – everything can be made from the ecological miracle material mycelium. Designers and architects are working on finally bringing the sponge into our homes.
The French furniture manufacturer Ligne Roset has now announced its first collection of cushions for this year, in cooperation with the Californian company MycoWorks. The Californians have also supplied Hermès with their leather substitute. They are one of the few companies that has ever succeeded in industrializing the production of mycelium, i.e. on a large scale and with consistent results.
