MycoWorks presents Reishi™ In the Nordic Light, a collection celebrating the synergy between Danish design traditions and Reishi™ that challenges our perceptions of sustainability and aesthetics. Each piece tells a story of transformation and connectivity, bridging the heritage of Danish craftsmanship with a forward-looking approach to responsible, tactile, and timeless design.

Curated by Marie-Louise Høstbo, the collection brings together five visionary Danish designers who with an ambitious approach seamlessly blend tradition with innovation. Their work utilizes the sustainable biomaterial Reishi™ to explore the timeless principles of Danish design—simplicity, functionality, and tactile beauty—while harnessing the transformative power of Nordic light. Each piece reflects a thoughtful dialogue between heritage and forward-thinking aesthetics, creating an immersive experience that redefines modern interiors.

Together, OEO Studio, Frederick Gustav, Cecilie Manz, Maria Bruun, and atelier axo stand at the forefront of Denmark’s contemporary design scene. Their ambition and precise craftsmanship underscore the essential value of enriching our surroundings with high-quality objects and thoughtfully curated details, sparking both admiration and a profound appreciation for the art of design.
